Kristin Driesbaugh is emerging manufacturer advisor of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Center (NEPIRC). Her responsibilities include client prospecting, sales and relationship-building, speaking and networking engagements, marketing, branding, maintaining community partnerships within all 11 counties NEPIRC covers. “My goal is to secure client engagements in the areas of strategy, innovation, leadership development and revenue growth,” she says. “Every challenging situation provides you with an opportunity to learn and grow. I am fortunate to have a job where every day is different. I am very proud of the region in which I was born and raised and I am fulfilled to be a part of the region’s positive growth and success.”
Her motivation in life is family. “I am surrounded with positive, supportive, loving people that give me the motivation to succeed. I can never repay my family for the life they have given me, but I will continue trying every day!” she says.
Her mentors are her parents, Rich and Pat Driesbaugh. “I admire their hard-work and determination. They are the perfect example of what it means to be selfless. They have raised me to be strong, believe in myself, work hard, and be a good person.”
She advises others to be honest and work hard. “Get comfortable saying, ‘No’ This will make you strong and keep you determined. It allows you to really find out what style works for you when relating to people.” She also believes in creating relationships because businesses don’t want to feel like they were “sold.” “Business owners or other professionals want a relationship that is of value to them,” she says.
She is grateful for the support of her sisters, Katie Boyles and Kara Driesbaugh, and her fiancé, Chris Magnotta.
