The Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary’s 69th annual Mistletoe Ball was a huge success, according to auxiliary president, Helen Beck, who said, “We raised more than $20,000 for our hospital and the health needs of our community.” The dinner-dance event took place at Ehrhardt’s on the Waterfront in Tafton on Jan. 16 with music by Groove Train. The band was sponsored by the Wayne Memorial Hospital medical staff and the silent auction prizes were donated by local businesses. “We can’t thank them all enough,” Beck said. Committee members seen from left, seated: Shauna Ridd; Barbara Raetsch, chair; and Cathy Howell. Standing: Helen Beck; Pricilla Krum; Mary Lou Radell; Ann Morgan; and Karen Hunt. The auxiliary welcomes new members. Call (570) 253-5820.
