Ben Franklin Venture Idol returns Nov. 16

share thisMark your calendar for the annual Ben Franklin Venture Idol. Similar to the TV show, American Idol, but with entrepreneurs rather than singers, this event attracts entrepreneurs and investors, business and community leaders, and professional service providers for high-quality interactions leading to investments and economic growth. Three early-stage technology companies seeking investment deliver presentations to an investor panel and the audience. After panelist comments and questions, everyone votes; a new Ben Franklin Venture Idol is announced; and investment awards are presented to the competitors.
The event will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 16 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the Wood Dining Room, Iacocca Hall on the Lehigh University Mountaintop Campus in Bethlehem.
Tentative agenda:
- 2:30 p.m. "Speed Dating" for investors and entrepreneurs only – by invitation only.
- 5:30 p.m. Networking and hors d' oeuvres
- 7 p.m. Venture Idol
- 8:30 p.m. Networking and Dessert
