Dr. Russell Owens, assistant professor of education at King’s College, recently published a book, titled “Reinvent Yourself: A Personal Guide to an Encore Job in Sales.” The book was co-authored with Barbara Fralinger and Mark Rice.

The book, published by CreateSpace, discusses the universal challenges people encounter in life, including loss of a job, life change, and the search for meaning and alternatives, and demonstrates how to handle these challenges and achieve success in the world of sales by way of personal and professional reinvention.

Owens is a recognized authority on training, operations, and strategic issues affecting small and growing printing companies. He is a business growth strategist, with a focus on both external (e.g., franchising, licensing, joint ventures, and strategic alliances) and internal growth strategies (e.g., capital formation, mergers, and acquisitions).

In addition to serving as director of the college’s fast-track education program, Owens teaches numerous education courses, including development, cognition and learning, fundamentals, psychology, health and physical education, and educational technology.
