Rosemary Broderick, FACHE, of Advanced Imaging Specialists, a multi-million-dollar outpatient diagnostic imaging service with three locations in NEPA, possesses a positive “can do” attitude.

Having served as CEO of the Heritage Alliance, a multi-specialty physician organization in NEPA, and having held management positions at Moses Taylor Hospital and Community Medical Center, she developed the first elderly day-care center in Lackawanna County and the first hospital-based child-care center. She was also responsible for forming the first hospital-based community task force to address health-care issues involving women and the elderly.

Broderick is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, co-chair of the National Program Committee for the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) and vice president of the Northeast Chapter of RBMA. She co-chaired the 2009 ACR/RBMA national forum and served as a member of the conference faculty. She was the first female president of the Scranton Club and chaired the first Race for the Cure in NEPA.

She serves on the many and varied boards and has a long history of involvement as a community leader in various organizations, including Scranton Tomorrow, the Healthcare Management Forum of NEPA and the Advocacy Alliance, where she served as president.

She is the proud recipient of several leadership awards, including The Margaretta Belin Chamberlin Award, The Chamber of Commerce Athena Award and Leadership Lackawanna Award.

She attributes much of her success to the support she has received from her partner and husband, Don; several wonderful mentors (men and women); her professional colleagues; and family and friends.

She advises young business women to secure good mentors. “A good mentor can play a pivotal role in your life and your success. When in doubt, turn to a good mentor and be reminded that you possess the gifts to make a real difference in life!” she encourages.
Rosemary and Don Broderick have two children, Stephen and Sara. They own a beach home in Maryland where they spend leisure time boating, relaxing, and enjoying their time together.
